New London St premises for Abbott Hamilton

Abbott Insurance Brokers Hamilton opened the doors today to a new fit-for-purpose space for its eleven-strong team and their clients.

It’s the first time the whole team has been under one roof since Waikato Insurance Brokers Ltd joined the Abbott Group in June. Branch Manager Kevin Wellwood said everyone had been incredibly positive about the process of first finding and then fitting out the right location, but they were all now more than ready to work as one team under one roof with one common goal – to deliver an exceptional risk service for clients.

“Fortunately our previous Tristram Street office was not too far from Waikato Insurance Brokers in Harwood Street so we could easily shuffle between the two spaces, but there’s nothing quite like having your team in one place,” says Kevin.

“I know everyone was looking forward to this day, which effectively sets the clock on the real coming together of our two businesses under the Abbott brand.”

The London Street office offers break-out areas, versatile client reception areas and client off-street parking.

“It’s been designed with the client experience in mind and how we want to work as a team in that space. Typically, we’d visit clients, especially our commercial clients, but we now have a space that is both inviting and conducive to hosting client meetings, seminars and other guest functions.

“We’ve got options we simply didn’t have before to engage with our clients and business partners. It’s going to be great.”
