After nearly ten years at our current Christchurch location on the corner of Moorhouse Ave and Montreal St, we are moving.
On Friday 20 November we’ll relocate from our current site on Moorhouse Ave, as the space is required to manage growth at Corcoran French. On the following Monday we’ll open at 93 Garlands Rd – on the corner of Opawa Rd, near the Tannery. We’ll be there until our brand new premises on the corner of Kilmore St and Cambridge Tce are complete around the middle of 2016.
Abbott Group’s General Manager Mark Reid, says that the company is really excited to be making the move to new premises. “Our Moorhouse Ave location has seen the company grow in staff and product offerings over the last ten years, but has also witnessed some of the most challenging times in our industry with the Christchurch earthquakes. Moving to a new premises is an investment in our business. It is a testament to our success and the relationships we’ve built with our clients and underwriting partners, which have seen us thrive in what is a very challenging and competitive market. We’re very much looking forward to this next chapter in our company’s history”.
With the new building on the corner of Garlands and Opawa Roads, access couldn’t be easier. Just follow Brougham St eastwards until it becomes Opawa Rd, and take the free turn onto Garlands Road and a quick right hand turn into our car park where there’s ample visitor parking.
We’re excited to take this next step towards our new home. We are looking forward to a premises that boasts more space as we build up to our final move into the CBD in the middle of next year.
