We are delighted to welcome two new staff members to the Abbott team:
Melissa Davenport joined us in March as Broker Assistant to Stuart Speirs.
Melissa has a number of years experience in the insurance industry. She also has wide and varied skills from a Bachelor of Business Management, a scholarship to study business practices in Shanghai, and work in the hospitality industry.
Melissa has also traveled overseas as a nanny and volunteered at a resort in Ecuador!
Melissa’s interests are equally varied, ranging from a love of nature and gardening to being a member of a belly dancing troupe in the UK, competing in Poker Championships, and singing.
Closer to home, Melissa spends a lot of time with her family and her delightful and ‘crazy’ border collie Buddy.
Kerry Quested joined us in April as a Claims Consultant.
With 12 years of industry experience (10 of those with IAG), Kerry is highly skilled and a valuable addition to our team.
Kerry originally hails from the Bay of Islands but has been an adopted Cantabrian for 24 years.
Outside of work she is the mother of two boys (18 and 14) who she describes as “amazing, intelligent, caring and inspiring.”
Kerry is passionate about all things sports, traveling, good 80s music and increasing her wine cellar. Kerry is a keen foodie and dreams of opening her own restaurant.
