Steadfast Group

We are members of the ASX listed Steadfast Group, the largest general insurance broker network in Australasia with 458 general insurance brokers in 1,880 offices throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, and a growing presence in Europe.

The sheer size and scale of the Steadfast Group gives us superior market access to the world’s leading insurers and reinsurers. It means we can respond to our clients’ risk needs anywhere in the world, from one-off market placements and specialist underwriting, to tailored business insurance programmes with options from more than 160 products and services only available to Steadfast members.

And with Steadfast brokers placing more than 2.3 million policies across 150 national and international insurers, we have the power to negotiate better policy terms – broader coverage and customized options – and more competitive prices.

Anthony Jones, our General Manager Operations, and Derrick Abbott, our founding broker, are Directors of Steadfast New Zealand.

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) is a Government agency and plays a critical role in regulating capital markets and financial services in New Zealand.
Our general insurance brokers and financial advisers are registered on the FMA’s Financial Service Provider (FSP) register. They also undertake ongoing professional development to ensure they maintain their Professional Insurance Broker (PIB) rating with the FMA.
