The Abbott Group is pleased to welcome to the team our new General Manager Operations, Pete Russell. Pete comes to Abbotts after 30 years in Banking with Westpac & SBS, spending the last 20 odd years in staff management and senior lending roles. Pete has spent his first few weeks meeting and greeting the team at Abbotts as well as getting to know as many clients, insurers and business partners as possible.
Pete and his wife Lynda now have their home back to themselves with their eldest daughter Jodi out flatting and working in the Travel Industry after spending some time studying and travelling in Germany, and their youngest daughter Hayley in her 3rd year studying music and psychology at Victoria University. Hayley’s music studies will keep her in Wellington for the next couple of years at least.
Pete is a typical Kiwi bloke who enjoys all live sport and is addicted to the harness racing industry. When not pottering round in the garden, mowing lawns, or chasing round after the family, Pete is an ardent couch potato.
A lot of you may have bumped into Pete in previous years and Pete is looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible in the years ahead.
