In the lead-up to Christmas last year, our Life and Health team travelled to Rotorua for the annual Kepa Awards and were rewarded with some significant wins.
Derrick Abbott was awarded the prestigious Kepa Pinnacle Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to both the financial services industry and the community during his 40-plus year career.
Voted on by more than 600 Kepa members, the Pinnacle Award is the height of peer recognition in New Zealand for financial advisers.
Derrick took out the award for his long-standing commitment to the insurance industry, his role as a Kepa Director, and for his Chairmanship of the Bowel and Liver Trust.
Life and Health broker Bree Catterall also earned some time on the podium winning a Gold Award and a coveted Peak Award. Bree was nominated by Asteron Life for a Peak Award for her client-focused philosophy in the small to medium enterprise category.
